Controller of Examination

Following the prestigious conferment of Autonomous status by the University Grants Commission (UGC), Kaliabor College has established an independent Office of the Controller of Examinations. This marks a significant milestone in our academic journey, empowering us to design progressive curricula and conduct our own assessments, ensuring a dynamic and responsive educational environment.
The Examination Cell serves as the backbone of the college's academic evaluation system. We are committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity, confidentiality and efficiency in all our assessment processes.

Core Responsibilities
Under the autonomous framework, the Examination Cell manages the complete assessment lifecycle for all undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Our primary functions include:

Examination Planning: Preparing and publishing the academic calendar for Continuous Internal Evaluation (CIE) and End-Semester Examinations.
Conducting Examinations: Ensuring smooth, fair and secure administration of all theory and practical examinations.
Evaluation & Moderation: Coordinating the timely and accurate evaluation of answer scripts by qualified examiners, supported by a rigorous moderation process.
Result Declaration: Processing and publishing examination results on schedule.
Certification: Issuing grade cards, transcripts and provisional certificates to students.
Grievance Redressal: Providing a transparent mechanism for students to raise exam-related concerns, including provisions for re-evaluation and scrutiny.

With our new autonomous status, we are leveraging technology to streamline examination workflows. Our goal is to minimize administrative delays and provide students with a seamless, digitized experience—from filling out examination forms to downloading grade cards.
